*all things baby girl*

Michael and I are getting so excited for the arrival of our sweet little girl! But, we're also enjoying this unique time together!! It's been so fun to watch her grow inside of me...now she has taken completely over and I'm getting a little nervous (not going to lie)!!

However, we've had so much fun getting ready for her to come! We finished the nursery and got maternity pictures taken. Yes, I'm huge but it's a unique and extremely special time in our lives and I wanted to capture that!

Here is Callaway's latest ultrasound picture! Mamma is so proud of those squished lips and adorable chubby cheeks! :D

Here's a tour of baby Callaway's room:

Callaway's golf garden. Daddy painted the 'Callaway' on the golf ball and carved that massive golf-t that it's sitting on! It's so cute in her room. :)

The 'Callaway' golf sign I got at a golf store here in St. George that was moving and I asked them how much they were asking for the sign...I told them that I was naming my baby girl Callaway and thought that would be super cute in her nursery...they gave it to me for FREE!!! Yay! And just clarification, we are not naming our baby Callaway after the golf brand or the C-16 Callaway Corvette. They are just fun associations to the name and we feel in love with the name years ago! :) Our baby girl Callaway Lyn!!!

My two wonderful Aunts...Lyla and Joann bought me this Laz-y-boy recliner for my baby shower/graduation gift! It's amazing and is going to at least help those 3 am feedings feel a little better!

Her whole room...kinda!

Already a daddy's girl! :)

The maternity pictures we had taken were by "Snapped by Nix Pix". She is super talented and we LOVED how all the pictures turned out!!

Life IS good!

Mommy and Daddy love their baby Callaway girl.

My Big Brothers Wedding

On July 10, 2010, Gavin Miles Shelton married Ashley Dawn Bennett...yah, that's right...there is a NEW Ashley Shelton in town so WATCH OUT!!! This was an extra special day for me because not only did I get my one-and-only Shelton sister-in-law but I got a new niece Madison (Maddie, the cutest thing you've ever seen) and a cutie nephew JR. Yay. Extra special day for all of us!!!

Their announcement:

Their wedding:
It was really fun because there was a SUPRISE entrance of the bride, groom, and even the bishop. My dad has become a Harley Man. He purchased a (chromed out, beefed up, leathered down) Harley from Tennessee about 6 months ago. Call it a mid life crisis but I just think...this is my dad for ya! :) Dad got way excited when his new bike was going to be incorporated into the wedding. He was more than happy to pay for everything then! :D
Our cousin, Stacey Jackson was the bishop that was conducting the ceremony. Everyone kept asking, "Where’s the bishop?" and lo and behold, Stacey rides up, on his Harley, parks his bike, and walks to the front of the aisle. Gavin was then, nowhere to be found. Then, with a rev of his racing 4-wheeler engine, Gavin comes cruising up on his 4-wheeler (of course doing a wheelie!). He parks his 4-wheeler and walks up the aisle to join Bishop Jackson. So, for Ashley's entrance, she was escorted by 10+ bikers from my Aunt Joann and Uncle Dan's home (about a mile from our house where the wedding was taking place). I was in charge of calling my dad after the bishop and Gavin were able to have their entrances. Everyone was standing and all of a sudden (given my call) you could hear a deep roar of all the Harley engines starting up--even being a mile away!! The escort began and my dad and Ashley were the last in the row of bikes. The bishop said "everyone wave to the bride" as she rode by the road just north of where the ceremony was taking place. All the bikes pulled up, parked in front of the garage, and her and dad rode right up to the house, Ashley jumped off, and her dad escorted her to the front of the aisle. It was so fun and my dad loved it 'cause he got to wear his leathers during the ceremony!

The entrance!

The ceremony was beautiful and I've never seen my brother so HAPPY!!!! It was wonderful. I didn't get many pictures of the reception but just FYI, it was a dinner reception and my dad had bbq spare ribs (smoked by a good friend of my dad's), corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and to top it off, hundreds of salads and desserts from family and friends in the community!! It was a sure party! Everyone kept saying, "When the Shelton's throw a party, you know it's going to be big!" It was a blast.

This was the cutest kiss ever!!! Gavin sure laid one on Ashley...for a long time!!! It was so sweet and a side of Gavin that people NEVER see! At the end of the kiss, he lifted his hand and gave the audience a 'thumbs up'! It was adorable.

My dad and his leathers!

Me (very pregnant), my handsome brother "the groom" and my beautiful sister Kiana.

Our growing family!...minus Mike :(

The Shelton girls!

Welcome to the family Ashley, Maddie, and JR! We love you guys!! :D

Grand Canyon!

Growing up, my parents took my brother Gavin and I on some amazing vacations. We visited Virginia Beach, Montecello, DC (2x), Florida (2x), Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, Hawaii, Texas...and all over. My parents wanted to instill in Gavin and I a desire of learning and seeing things outside our Idaho bubble! Well, my parents weren't the biggest "camper-type" people so anything we did as a family was on a beach, in a hotel! Michaels family was the opposite, they did anything that involved the outdoors and getting dirty!! Well, even with our two amazing family trips combined, neither one of our parents ever took us to the Grand Canyon!! What a shame! One of the 7 natural wonders of the world and we've never seen it!...until now! We decided to take a day, just me and Mike, to witness this remarkable wonder! We had a blast! We hiked around...and it was funny the comments and looks I got (ya know, being almost 8 months pregnant and hiking around the Grand Canyon). What a sight! Michael would climb all over, up and down, and I pretty much stayed on the path. My body is starting to get very tired with this sweet little girl being carried around all day...so I wasn't as adventurous.

On our way!

High Elevation! :)

The North Rim

GORGEOUS!!!

Mamma and baby Callaway just hiking-hiking! It was funny cause when we took this picture, there was an older woman walking by and she said "You better bring that baby back here so you have a before and after picture!"

Nice people to take a picture of me and my handsome Husband together!

We packed a delicous lunch and enjoyed all the goodies while loving the beautiful view!
