MOVED!!!

So, we are officially moved from Logan to sunny St.George...officially meaning we filled out out 'official' change of address form from the Post Office! Wow! I have always loved loved loved St. George so its kinda surreal that Mike and I live here. Definitely smaller than our house in Logan but its another new adventure with the person I love most! Wish us luck! We're excited and sad-excited to be starting a new chapter but super hard to be so far away from immediate family!!

Here's to a New Year filled with TONS of adventures, new experiences, and happy beginnings!

Happy Birthday Dad

Today is my dad's 61st Birthday. He would be horrified if he knew I told his age but I say it because golly, at his age, he really only looks early 50's...its impressive! He is an incredible man that has done so much for me. I am forever grateful to him! My favorite memories are traveling with my family-my dad always instilled in us a LOVE of traveling-that is how my mom and dad met! :) I also remember waking up on Saturday mornings to dad making omelets, listening to Celine Dion, and flexing his arms saying "I'm a macho dad, huh?!" That he is!! Thank you dad for your support, your encouragement, your faith, your perseverance, your example of hard work, your love, and who you are! You bring so much joy to our lives and family! Love you dad!

Merry Christmas

There truly something magical about this time of the year! Wonderful to celebrate with family and friends the true meaning for this season. Its our Savior Jesus Christ that makes this season so special! Mike and I want to express our love and gratitute for our Savior! So indebted for all He has done for us. We truly love Him and love the strength and courage He gives us to make it through this life. All we are and hope to become we owe to our Savior. He lives and through such humble beginnings to such magnificant heights we are grateful for all He has done for us! May we all remember the reason for the season and hold on to that spirit for as long as we can!

We spent such an incredible Christmas Eve with my family in Blackfoot and on our way to Preston to spent Christmas day with the 'mighty' Griffiths clan!

We are so blessed!!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We love you all and hope your Christmas is also filled with family, love, and gratitude!

Love-Hate

So, I love and hate airports! Hate because I remember traveling all over when I was younger flying standby and sleeping in numerous airports waiting to get out on the one flight a day out of some airports...however, airports are so fun to people watch and airports are full of love (from anyone not working at one) where people anxiously awaiting a loved one to arrive...this is my purpose currently sitting on the floor in the Salt Lake airport! My best friend Cassidy is flying in from Rhode Island where she is currently attending graduate school! I'm so excited to see her and catch up-we've both been through one heck of a year so I'm just exstatic to see her! I am so grateful for amazing friends that support, encourage, and love you no matter what! I must say, I have some of the most incredible besties in the entire world!! My cup runneth over!! Yay for airports!...but especially best friends in airports!! P.S. Don't worry, I parked so I could greet my amazing friend with a welcome home banner and Costa Vida in the car!!

Techies!

Mike and I officially are techies...we got new blackberries today! Not sure if we can even handle the pressure of having such fancy phones. Its fun though. Mike loves the pandora and of course, I love the internet. Easier to stay connected to those I love! Look out world! Haha. P.S. I'm loving this no school thing! Sleeping in, spending all day with husband, and the kicker-No HOMEWORK! It feels amazing to have completed my final semester of graduate school classes! The whole experience has been a huge blessing for both Michael and I-many nights crying, late study sessions, 24 page midterms...done!! We were continually blessed and I always say it was literally the grace of my Savior and the strength of my Father in Heaven that made any of this possible! I'm so indebted! Now on to life-exciting!

So, the Griffiths family has gone on-line!

Just a brief background about us:
Michael and I (Ashley) met in high school. Yes, high school sweethearts! We dated through our junior and senior years of high school. I went on to college at BYU-Idaho and Michael served a mission for 2 years in Mexico. He came home from his mission on Feb. 14, 2006...we were engaged on March 30, 2006, and married in the Idaho Falls temple on June 8, 2006! Now, 3 1/2 years later....here we are!! Still blissfully married and happy as ever!! I just completed my last semester of graduate school classes at Utah State University in Speech-Language Pathology. Mike and I have lived in 7 states and moved too many times to count. Our new adventure is beginning within the next few weeks...St. George here we come!!!
