*quick*

Oh my heavens, so I have been a terrible keeping up with...anything....lately. For that I am sorry but here is quick update on our little family. Callaway is now 6 months old. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone--seriously, where?!?!

Stats for 6 months:

Weight: 20 lbs (that's right, a true breastfed baby folks--happy and healthy)

Height: 27 inches

Favs: Snuggling with her blankies, EATING (we've now introduced some solid baby foods...and yep, she doesn't like them as much as eating off mommy's plate): baby food puffs, mashed potatoes, mommy's milk, sugar cookies, and on and on and on, she loves to put anything to her mouth, she loves her new little baby doll (thank you Nikki and Lexi for introducing us to the wonderful world of baby dolls), her pony, daddy's "facial hair", walks, bath time, talking, singing, her teddy bear, her new best friend Lexi, getting up on her hands and knees and rocking, doing her version of "the worm", baby push-ups, and smiling. *This little girl KNOWS how to smile!*

Dislikes: mushy baby food--especially peas, being ignored (and she will for sure let you know), she doesn't like being left on her belly too long, and really....not too much stuff this little girl won't try. She is amazing.

As for Michael and I, we are loving being parents. It's so fun and really...it just keeps getting better and better. I now have another job. I am working a few hours a week at the Vista School here in Ivins as their speech language pathologist. I am just mostly doing paperwork, IEP's, and supervising but the little extra income will help...however, I think I may be a little in over my head. Eek. Michael is LOVING being the amazing handy-man he is and still the hardest worker I'll ever meet. OH....WE ARE OFFICIALLY HOMEOWNERS. We closed on our house on Michael's birthday--Jan 25th. We've loved every second of living here! Ivins is the most darling little town and we LOVE LOVE LOVE our neighbors (namely the Harris') and the WARD. Everything about our new home and situation has been a HUGE answer to prayer. We have been so blessed! ...more to come...
